Quirky duo Key Wilde & Mr. Clarke sing upbeat tunes about flying fish and confused dogs who think they’re frogs—all are performed against an animated backdrop. Listen up for tracks from Hey Pepito!, the follow-up to the group’s lauded book-CD Rise and Shine. Jan 14 at 11 am, 2pm. Symphony SpaceAll ages.

The Wiyos
Best known for its 1920s and ’30s Tin Pan Alley rock, this Brooklyn band uses washboards, foot stomps and plenty of hollers during its concerts. Expect to hear tunes from the Wiyos’ latest album, Twist, featuring original material based loosely on L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz.  Jan 28 at 1pm. Brooklyn Public Library Central Branch. All ages.

Morgan Taylor’s mellow yellow creature from the sun teams up with the 45-piece Chelsea Orchestra to take over Symphony Space with grandiose strings, lively horns and animated shorts. The multimedia production will feature such tunes as  “I Jump on Cake” and “Panther Stamps Pants,” plus newer favorites like “Wisconsin Poncho.” Feb 11 at 1pm, Feb 12 at 4pm. Symphony Space. All ages.

Koral fans boogie down to tunes from the singer’s newest CD, Anna and the Cupcakes, featuring songs about gingerbread men and rocket ships and even a cover of the Avett Brothers’ folk-rock hit “Kick Drum Heart.” Feb 12 at 11am. Caspary Auditorium, Rockefeller University. All ages.

Debbie and Friends
With her Guy Smiley persona and happy-go-lucky tunes, Debbie Cavalier’s Boston-based outfit reissues childhood standards like “Cinderella,” and “Simon Says” for young audiences to enjoy. Mixed in with the classics are some good-natured originals (“So, So Happy”) bound to make preschoolers dance in the aisles. Feb 12 at 11am. 92Y Tribeca. Ages 4 to 10.

Laura Veirs & The Tumble Bees
Having already made her mark in the grown-up alt-folk realm, Veirs brings a multi-generational musical experience (reminiscent of Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower) to the stage as she supports her debut children’s album, Tumble Bee, at Joe's Pub. Feb 12 at 3pm. Joe's PubAll ages.

In support of its latest album, Flying!, Recess Monkey performs two sets of tunes for little ones to rock out to. “Grandmom’s House” celebrates everyday heroes, stuffed animals turn into caped crusaders in “Super Stuffies,” and “Flapjacks”is a happy ode to breakfast. Feb 25 at 11am, 2pm. Symphony Space. All ages.
