On Saturday, May 30, Time Out Kids will partner with the fabulous folks at the Madison Square Park Conservancy for our second annual spring Kids Fest. Check out the slide show above for pics of last year's festivities. The free outdoor event, which takes place rain or shine, will feature fun activities throughout the day, representing each section of the magazine.

The free fest takes place from 10:30am to 1:30pm, rain or shine. Activities include:

EAT
Sample tasty snacks from the Treats Truck and organic eats from Clif Bars, then stop by the popcorn and cotton candy stand.

SHOPPING
Purchase merchandise from apple seeds and the Madison Square Park Conservancy; proceeds help keep the park beautiful.

ART & MUSEUMS
Your kids can enjoy arts and crafts from the Madison Square Park Conservancy, make mandalas with the Rubin Museum of Art, get their faces painted by Vital Children's Theater and grab a hard hat for a building workshop with apple seeds.

BOOKS
Karma Kids presents storytime yoga, and local children’s author Karen Ruelle reads from her Madison Square Park–inspired book, The Tree.

FILM
Grab freebies from Disney Pixar's new flick, Up.

MUSIC
Rapping pig and cow duo Ham & Burger perform at 11am. Rock out with the Deedle Deedle Dees at 1pm.
