Putumayo Kids hosts air-guitar contest

To promote the release of its newest compilation album, Rock & Roll Playground, Putumayo Kids is hosting a cute contest which invites young fans to show off their best air-guitar performances. Through August 15, parents can submit videos of their little ones strumming imaginary strings. The winner will receive an at-home concert by one of the album's artists—StingRay, from the New Jersey–based group StarFish—plus a collection of five Putumayo Kids CDs. To enter, visit the Putumayo Kids website, download StarFish's jam "The StarFish Stomp" for free, have your kid rock out without a sound and upload the footage.
