Disney to release karaoke game based on its classic movies

We've always been big fans of karaoke video games, but none has excited us quite as much as the House of Mouse's upcoming release, Disney Sing It: Family Hits, which lets kids sing along to tunes from Disney movies, including Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, The Princess and the Frog and more! (Previous Disney karaoke offerings only featured music from its crop of pop stars, such as Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.) All of the songs in the new game will be accompanied by full-screen HD videos comprised of montages and original footage from the films. We got to test-drive the diversion a few weeks back, and we had a blast. It really put us in the mood to watch just about every animated flick Disney has ever produced. The release date has yet to be determined, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear. We're sure your little mermaid will want to start the countdown!
