Daniel Radcliffe to star in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

In 2008, scores of young Harry Potter fans lined up every night outside the Broadhurst Theater where Daniel Radcliffe was starring in Equus. Alas, the show was rife with nudity and bestiality, so kids couldn't see him on stage. Next season, though, they'll be able to catch him live in the (clothed) flesh when he stars as J. Pierrepont Finch in a revival of the family-friendly, Pulitzer Prize–winning musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, which is slated to bow on Broadway in spring 2011. Last revived in 1995 with Matthew Broderick snagging a Tony in the lead role, the show chronicles a mailroom worker's meteoric (and morally questionable) rise to the top ranks of his company. Trust us, it's more fun than it sounds, and in a year you can see for yourself. In the meantime, we're trying to digest the fact that Radcliffe is old enough to play the part.
