Catch the Okee Dokee Brothers and Rolie Polie Guacamole this Sunday, February 13
Let the kids indulge in family festivities at the Bell House this Sunday, where they can create recycled art (with the help of Private Picassos instructors), dance to live music and generally run amok. The rocking kindie concert features sets by the Okee Dokee Brothers and Rolie Polie Guacamole. The charming Okee Dokees will have tots square-dancing to bluegrass beats and witty wordplay on tracks like "The Extraterrestrials" and "What We Got." Then wee ones can work out the wiggles to fanciful jam-band songs from Rolie Polie Guacamole's album Time for Hummus. For parents and kids who work up an appetite, snacks will be available from the V-Spot, a local all-vegan eatery. Sun Feb 13 11am-1pm. The Bell House, 149 7th St between Second and Third Aves, Park Slope, Brooklyn (718-643-6510, thebellhouseny.com). $10 (cash only at the door).
